Main Lodge
The lodge is situated on a mountain top in the beautiful Waterberg Biosphere, Limpopo.
The lodge is charming yet rustic, built to blend in with the surroundings and offers breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets over mountains beyond.
3 African Safari tents can each accommodate 2 people, and is furnished with double or single beds. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bath towels and linen are provided.
The lapa consists of an open-plan dining and lounge area with a sundeck and separate viewing room.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, urn, cutlery, enamel and stainless steel crockery, a variety of pots and pans and most kitchen tools you would have at home.
There are no TV’s or air conditioning in the tents or the common area which is ideal for digital detox. Free Wi-Fi is available in the common area due to limited cell phone reception.
There is a variety of wildlife including giraffe, eland, kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, zebra, impala, blesbuck, nyala, duiker, warthog, and bush pig. There are also dassies, elephant shrews, mongoose, monkeys and baboons, a variety of birds, trees, and insects, as well as occasional sightings of the more elusive species to be encountered (leopard, brown hyena, aardvark, pangolin).
If you love gazing at stars at night, you will be at the right place. Guests marvel at the brilliant stars in the African sky while enjoying a great fire.
Smoking is allowed at designated areas. All the tents and buildings are no smoking zones.
Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
Unfortunately, we do not have a swimming pool.
Children are welcome however the lodge is not a child safe environment.
